At CRRA, our mission is to work in the best interests of the people of Conecticut by providing environmentally sound, cost-effective systems for managing our trash and increasing the amount we recycle. The CRRA Trash Musuem, located in Hartford’s South Meadows, leads the way in those efforts.

Since 1993, the Trash Museum, through its interactive exhibits and award-winning educational programs, has taught more than 300,000 people how to improve their environment, conserve natural resources and save energy just by thinking about what they throw away.
